About

The residential specialist arm of Dry Risers Direct.

Residential Fire Sprinkler Servicing is a fire sprinkler company built for one job: servicing, inspecting, testing and repairing residential sprinkler systems across Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and the wider North West.

We are a trading name of Dry Risers Direct Ltd, established in 2015 and trusted with fire safety systems across the North West for ten years. Dry Risers Direct looks after dry risers, hydrants and hose reels. This brand exists so that residential sprinkler systems get the same treatment from fire sprinkler engineers who work on them every day, to BS 9251 and BS EN 12845, with the paperwork done properly.

What we do

Fire sprinkler maintenance, annual servicing, sprinkler system inspection and testing, fault finding, sprinkler head replacement and repairs. Systems are serviced to the standard they were installed under, BS 9251 for residential and domestic systems, BS EN 12845 for larger schemes.

Who we do it for

The people responsible for buildings other people live in: building and facilities managers, housing associations, block management companies, care home operators, student accommodation teams and landlords.

How we work

A quote within 24 hours of your enquiry. Visits planned around residents. Your certificate within 24 hours of the service, with a written report to match. Findings explained plainly, so you know where the building stands.

Where we work

Fire sprinkler contractors across the North West: Manchester and all of Greater Manchester, Cheshire from our Wilmslow base, and Merseyside. See the areas we cover.

Accreditations and standards.

Dry Risers Direct Ltd holds CHAS and SMAS Worksafe health and safety accreditations, and BAFE SP105 registration for its dry and wet riser servicing work. Our sprinkler servicing is carried out to the British Standards that govern residential systems, BS 9251 for domestic and residential sprinkler systems and BS EN 12845 for larger schemes, and we put our work up against those standards on every visit.

Why a specialist matters.

A residential sprinkler system fails quietly. A painted-over head, a valve that sticks, a pressure that has drifted from its design figure. None of it shows until the day the system is needed. Our engineers look for exactly those things, because residential systems are all they work on, and the buildings they work in are the kind where people are asleep upstairs.

If you are responsible for one of those buildings, the simplest way to know where you stand is to see what a service involves, or ask us for a quote.
